So, you’ve just purchased your first Forged in Fire pan, (hopefully the first of many), and you’re ready to get in the kitchen and start whipping up all sorts of delicious culinary creations. However, despite your enthusiasm you may be wondering how to best protect your investment and make it last. Of course, every Forged in Fire pan is extremely tough and durable, but there are certain things that you may want to keep in mind to prolong the life of your pans!
Always let cookware cool completely before cleaning, additionally, we recommend hand washing this item with warm water after each use. However, if you so wish, you can place these pans on the top rack of the dishwasher. Never use steel wool or other abrasive sponges or pads so as to protect the Fire Glide No Stick Coating. We also recommend drying immediately after each use.
Another thing to bear in mind when using Forged in Fire pans is to not cut food items in the pan itself, especially not with a Forged in Fire knife. Remember, our knives are extremely sharp and by cutting food items in the pan, you run the risk or scratching or damaging your pan.
Finally, avoid extreme temperatures. These pans are oven safe up to 500 degrees and are compatible on all stove tops making them perfect for basically all home kitchens. We do not recommend exposing these pans to temperatures in excess of 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
